A tall; spindly man in his later years; Nicodem is one of Malifaux’s premier undertakers. As such; he is always impeccably dressed and speaks with the manners of a well-bred gentleman. He walks with a cane to compensate for the loss of one of his legs; which has since been replaced with a bionic substitute; although how he came to lose the limb is something that Nicodem does not speak of.

Nicodem employs a venue of vultures; who seek out abandoned corpses for him to claim; and through which he can cast his own black spells; and often hires the services of Mortimer; whose disgusting presence he tolerates due to the man’s uncanny ability to source fresh materiel.
