Legions Imperialis: Thunderhawk Gunship
The Thunderhawk Gunship fulfils a number of roles within the Legiones Astartes; but primarily acts as a drop ship; soaring through both atmosphere and void space to deliver its deadly cargo of Space Marines. It is also a formidable weapons platform in its own right; however; equipped to scour landing zones and engage enemy aircraft.
This multipart plastic kit builds an epic scale Thunderhawk Gunship. This airborne behemoth's primary weapon is a dorsal turbo-laser destructor; while its fuselage and wings each support a pair of heavy bolter turrets for lighter targets. It also boasts a pair of lascannons mounted on secondary 'attack wings'; which offer glueless assembly to adjust their positioning mid-game. The Thunderhawk comes with six hellstrike missiles to mount under its main wings; and can be built with its landing gears extended for touchdown; or retracted within its hull.
This model can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis by mounting it on an appropriate Aeronautica Imperialis base; sold separately.
