Apollo 11 is the name of the American space mission; which aimed to land man on the moon. The landing took place on July 20; 1969 at 8:17:40 p.m. The crew consisted of astronauts: Neil Armstrong; Michael Collins; Edwin Aldrin.

It was designed for space operations near and on the surface of the moon.
